I can't watch ITVX using Chrome browser

There are a few reasons why you might have problems watching itvx.com using Google Chrome browser.


It’s most likely that your Chrome browser needs to be updated, or that there’s a setting in your Chrome browser that needs to be changed.


Try the following updates in order, and after each one try itvx.com again to see if the issue is fixed.



Update Chrome browser


1. Open Chrome browser.


2. At the top right corner of the window, click on the More symbol with 3 dots.

3. From the menu list, select 'Help' and then 'About Google Chrome'.


4. Click the ‘Relaunch’ button to update Chrome.

(If you can't see the 'Relaunch' button, it means your browser is already up to date.)



Update Chrome’s content protection component


1. Copy and paste chrome://components into Chrome’s address bar, then press enter.


2. Find ‘Widevine Content Decryption Module’ from the list and click ‘Check for update’. 


3. You should see the message 'Status - Up-to-date’.



Update ‘Protected content IDs’


1. Open Chrome browser.


2. Copy and paste chrome://settings/content/protectedContent into Chrome’s address bar, then press enter.


3. Turn on ‘Sites can play protected content’.



Reinstall Google Chrome


1. First, follow these steps to uninstall Chrome from your computer. 


2. Using a different browser, follow these steps to download and install the latest version of Chrome
