About push notifications from ITVX

Push notifications are alerts that you can choose to get on your phone or tablet. These notifications let you know about exciting premieres, exclusive boxsets, or when your favourite shows are starting or available on catch up.

Remind me

In addition to normal push notifications, our 'Remind me' feature on certain shows allows you to receive an email and push notification when that show is about to transmit. To use this feature, simply hit the 'Remind me' button on the show's page within the ITVX app or website. Please note that you'll need to have push notifications enabled on your device to receive 'Remind me' notifications.

You can opt in to get push notifications when you first download the ITVX app, but you can switch them on or off at any time. Here's how:

How do I manage push notifications on my Apple device?

1. From your device's home screen, open 'Settings'.
2. Select 'Notifications'.
3. Scroll down and select 'ITVX'.
4. Select the 'Allow Notifications' toggle to change your settings. If it's green, you're ready to receive push notifications from us. If it's grey, you are opted out of these. You can also customize your notifications in this menu.

How do I manage push notifications on my Android device?

1. Open the ITVX app.
2. Select the Menu icon.
3. Find and select 'Settings'.
4. Toggle 'Push Notifications' to change your settings. If it's turquoise, you're ready to receive push notifications from us. If it's grey, you're opted out of these.
