If you’re having issues with error ITV-1S-6006 on ITVX, it means there’s a problem with video playing on your TV, streaming box or stick. The issue is that ITVX either can’t begin playing or stops playing while you’re watching.
Why am I getting this error?
There are a few reasons why you might be getting this error. The most common reasons are that your device could have run out of resources, or another service may have used a different streaming method on your device which is then cached.
How to fix error ITV-1S-6006
If you keep getting this error then we’d recommend you power off the device that you’re using to watch ITVX, wait for 30 seconds and then turn the power back on.
To power off the device, either switch off the power at the wall or unplug the device. Pressing the power button to switch the device off and back on only puts the device into standby mode, which won’t solve the issue. Please note that factory resetting the device is not necessary.
How do I know which device is causing the issue?
The device you’re using to watch ITVX should be shown at the bottom of the error message. By ‘device’, we don’t mean your internet router, but rather the device that is playing (or trying to play) the video. Sometimes it’s not possible for us to identify your device, in which case the error message won’t show the device type.
