Please note that profiles are available on selected devices only. This article only applies to devices which support profiles.
You can watch ITVX using up to 2 profiles: a main profile and a kids profile.
Your main profile is created for you automatically, using the first name from your account registration. If you create a new kids profile you can then switch between the two profiles.
A kids profile is ideal for parents:
- You get a dedicated kid-safe homepage with shows just for kids, so you don’t need to worry about them watching content that isn’t appropriate.
- Your kids profile has its own Continue Watching list, which will only show kids content and not the shows you watch on your main profile.
- For additional security, you can PIN-protect your main profile and all G rated content by turning on Parental Controls. Please note that, while all content available on a kids profile is age appropriate, some shows may be Guidance rated for other reasons (for example if they contain flashing lights).
